Carbon County Fair

Last evening, Keith, James and I went to the Carbon County Fair. The parking was free, the admission was free, and the dinner was provided by the Bank. We had a delicious dinner of beef brisket, beans, slaw and bun.

Then we watched the herding dogs competition. Three heifers are led into the ring by cowboys, then the dogs work to herd them past barrels, around obstacles and into pens. The winner of the contest was Chester. We also liked a dog named Red. The images were taken with the new Nikon camera.
